The same herbs and essential oils as are in Deep Tissue Oil. First the herbs are infused in olive oil, then melted beeswax is added to the infused oils and last of all the menthol crystals and essential oils are added. Deep Tissue Salve can be used for the same purposes as Deep Tissue Oil, but with less mess.

Contains:

Fresh St. John's Wort Flower, Calendula flower, Arnica flower, Ginger root and Cayenne infused in Organic Extra Virgin Olive Oil, Menthol crystals, organic Wintergreen Essential Oil and Peppermint Essential Oil. Salve contents are the same as the oil with the addition of Beeswax.

Action:

"First Aid in a bottle" (Weaver, Be Your Own Doctor 149). Increases circulation, breaks up congestion, speeds healing, aids aches, pains, and sprains.

Suggested Uses:

Congestion, swollen lymph nodes, coughs, sore throat, headaches, and leg and muscle cramps. A popular warming massage oil for the relief of minor muscle discomfort. Dilute Deep Tissue Oil in a carrier oil such as olive oil.

Directions:

Apply liberally to skin and rub in well.

My wife loves this on her shoulders and neck when she is starting to get a headache or is just feeling very tense and knotted up. The salve works quick and often relieves the tension and even headache within a couple hours. It' also great on the feet after a long day. Highly recommend - I will be keeping this on hand!

Works Great

This product works great on sore muscle and muscle cramps. I triggered a thigh cramp (Charlie Horse) a while back and quickly applied this product to soothe the area. I kept adding more each day to keep the adductor muscles (inner thigh muscles) relaxed. Since I walk back and forth plus do weightlifting it will come in handy.

I bought a few salves ahead of the season and I’m glad I did. My husband had a bad sore throat and used this 3-4x a day and his sore throat lasted 2-3 days. He also gargled cloves which helped as well.
