Dosage Directions
Adults: Always start with a smidge®! Take four capsules at once, per day, or as directed by a certified healthcare practitioner. (See "low and slow" note below).
Sensitive individuals (adults): 1 capsule, once daily. May increase dose overtime if needed.
Children: Start with 1/2 of a capsule mixed in food.
Pregnant/Nursing: We suspect most expecting moms to be taking Prenatal vitamins that may also contain similar nutrients. It is fine to use a half dose of Oysterzinc, taking two capsules daily. This depends on what vitamins you are already using. Many Moms do use the full dose of four capsules daily.

How to take:
Start low and slow: Our supplements are premium, pure and potent. Therefore, it's critically important to start slowly, with a lower dosage than recommended. For example, a minimal dose every other day, or even once a week, until you can determine how the supplement affects your body and what feels right for you. You may open these capsules up and consume in powdered form or in a lower dosage. This may be sprinkled onto food or into your smoothie of choice. Keep in mind, the smell is strong when out of the capsule.

The oyster (from the Ostreoidea family) is a salt-water mollusk with a rock-hard, irregularly shaped shell encasing a fleshy, slimy, plump body. With its delicate, toothy texture, umami flavor and briny liquid, folks love to consume them cooked or raw as a delicacy. Our Oyzterzinc is the extract of fresh oysters, produced on the lush coastlines of Ireland under a proprietary process that preserves bioactivity and purity. Hydroxypropyl methylcellulose (HPMC), water. Our vegetable (vegan) capsules consist of HPMC and purified water. HPMC is derived from vegetable cellulose of either pine or poplar. These capsules contain no preservatives, no gelatin, wheat, animal by-products or starch.

For example, the body's important copper reserve can become depleted if zinc is taken on its own.
